Stand Strong and Stop Violence with Domestic Violence Prevention NGO
In many homes across India, domestic violence is still a painful reality. It takes place quietly, out of sight, and is often kept secret. Many live with fear and hurt, but few talk about it. This form of abuse goes beyond class, caste, and religion. For far too many people, it has become a part of their daily life.
At Abitec Foundation, we recognise the courage it takes to speak up. As a committed domestic violence prevention NGO, we stand beside survivors, offering care, support and a safe way to move forward.
Many people do not report domestic abuse because they are afraid, unsure or simply do not know where to turn. Even today, stigma and silence stop survivors from speaking up. Help is possible, and organisations like ours are working every day to offer support, raise awareness and bring steady, lasting change.
Our Work at a Glance
Our domestic violence prevention programme addresses issues at these levels:
- Individual We support survivors with both immediate and long-term counselling. We also help them access medical care, legal guidance and police assistance when needed.
- Community We work with local volunteers who look out for the safety of women and children in their communities. They give emotional support and help link survivors with services when needed.
- Local Outreach
- We carry out self-defence workshops in schools, colleges and neighbourhoods.
- We also operate a helpline where women can report abuse and receive legal advice.
- We organise seminars focused on women’s health, legal rights and financial independence.
